Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Deposit
1.1. A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total fee is required to secure a booking after the contract has been signed.
1.2. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
1.3. The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of project completion, after the final images have been supplied to the client.
2. Rights and Usage
2.1. All rights and usage of images captured by Matt Ankers Studio remain the property of Matt Ankers Studio.
2.2. If the client requires full ownership of the images, a separate Rights & Usage agreement must be negotiated, and additional fees will apply.
2.3. Matt Ankers Studio retains the right to use images for portfolio purposes, marketing, and promotional use unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2.4. If a client wishes to restrict portfolio use, a Rights & Usage agreement must be undertaken, and an additional fee may apply.
3. Delivery and File Format
3.1. Final images will be delivered in an edited, high-resolution format.
3.2. Matt Ankers Studio does not provide original or RAW files to clients.
3.3. Turnaround times for image delivery will be discussed and agreed upon before the project commences.
4. Project Expenses
4.1. The client is responsible for covering any additional project-related expenses incurred during the shoot.
4.2. These expenses may include, but are not limited to, travel costs, studio hire, flights, accommodation, model fees, equipment rentals, and permits.
4.3. All such costs will be discussed and agreed upon in advance, and payment must be made before the shoot or upon receipt of an invoice.
5. Contract Agreement
5.1. A contract outlining these terms and conditions must be signed by the client prior to any work commencing with Matt Ankers Studio.
5.2. Failure to sign the contract may result in the cancellation of the booking.
6. Project Scope Changes
6.1. If the client wishes to make changes to the agreed project scope as outlined in the signed contract, any additional work required will be subject to additional charges.
6.2. Changes must be discussed and agreed upon in writing before proceeding with any additional work.
6.3. Additional charges will be determined based on the scope of changes and any extra time, resources, or expenses required.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
7.1. If a client cancels a booking, the deposit is non-refundable.
7.2. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be arranged with reasonable notice.
7.3. If Matt Ankers Studio needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of any payments made will be issued, or an alternative date will be arranged.
8. Liability and Indemnity
8.1. While all reasonable care is taken during the photography session, Matt Ankers Studio is not liable for unforeseen circumstances that may impact the final outcome of the images.
8.2. In the unlikely event of a technical failure, theft, or loss of equipment resulting in lost images, liability is limited to a refund of any payments made.
8.3. The client agrees to indemnify Matt Ankers Studio against any claims arising from the use or misuse of the images provided.
9. Client Responsibilities
9.1. The client is responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for locations and people included in the images.
9.2. Any specific shot requests must be communicated before the shoot.
9.3. Matt Ankers Studio is not responsible for any missed shots due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
10.2. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
By proceeding with a booking, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
